* Case Dimensions: Length 473mm, Width 190mm, Height 433.8mm
For £25 and CaseCom that looks surpriseing good.
Nice layout, hex fan grills, 120m fan mounts, black internals.
Although it's probably only 0.6mm SGCC steel that is most common on cheap cases, rather than 0.9 SECC steel that is used on decent steel cases
I'm tempted to get one just to see what it's like.
EDIT: looks like there's some cable management holes in the motherboard tray as well, although at only 190mm wide there's probably not enought space behind the tray to run cables.
The more I look at this the more it seems to tick every box for what I look for in a case, this is scary
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
OK as it's under £50, with 5day delivery it's £30 total.
I don't really need another case but I've pre-ordered it anyway.
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
Looks a sound case for the price. Will be interested to know what the build quality is like.
Will you be posting a reader review? ;);)
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
I wonder if the internal 3.5" drive rack will come out cleanly......can't see if its screwed or welded in grr

Knowing cheap cases like I do, I can bet it'll be pop riveted in.
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
I'll be very interested in seeing how that compares to my Antec 300. Will be looking forward to a mini review. If you can do a few pics, even better !
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
looks really good but I think its a bit too thin as my cooler only just fits in
Also my psu has an intake fan on the bottom and nothing on the back would this be ok?

Which i don't get, as rivets are more expensive per 100 than standard Hex bolts + nuts
But i suppose rivets are easier than bolts and nuts :)
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
This looks nice. Black interiors and decent amount of drive space. Wonder how good the steel will be? (Might be a rattler)
well spotted
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
ordering one of these I think for a little VMWare box
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
CaseCom and bottom-mounted PSU?
So that would mean that the cheaper CaseCom PSUs aren't suitable for this case. I remember having to get an extension ATX power-cable to use a CaseCom PSU in an Antec A300.
(I know CaseCom PSUs are very cheap but in this case the guy who's machine this was wanted to pay for a good case but only a so-so CaseCom 350W PSU - almost no load on that PSU though and it's still going strong.)
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
Looks good from the pictures. Looking forward to your review.
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
It actually ticks all the boxes that I've been looking for in a case. Bring on the review Pob255, I eagerly await it!

A while yet, but I has pre ordered ;)
Here my tick list I've had in my head since the Antec 900
Mid tower
Wide enough for 120mm fan based tower coolers
Lower mounted PSU, the right way up with fan ven in the bottom
Mesh front
top fan slots
90degree hard drive bay with rails or trays
Mesh front panel
Front switches and USB ports
low cost (under £50)
And a relative new addition, Black interia
A couple of cases have come close, I almost got the cm690 but the USB ports are in a very bad place for me and the drive caddies will not execpt IDE hard drives (I have and still use a very solid performing 80gb IDE hard drive)
And later discovered issues with the side panel fans
I loved and still love the silverstone fortress but it's just too expensive for me.
Both the Antec 400 and CM590 also came close but I much prefur a 90degree hard drive layout for easy quick access.
While this case is listed as 120mm front and top they look like they can take 140mm and at the price this does seem a real bargin.
But in a month or two we'll see . . .
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
Very nice find!
Looking forward to the review to see how good it really is.
It would be I just bought a chea and crappy Extra Vale case from eBuyer to house all of my defunct parts. Might need to get one of these now...
Re: Just spotted this case on Ebuyer
Definately a nice find. Anything under £40 normally looks like its under £10.
Hope build quality isnt sorely lacking
