    Not bad m8 but,

    SLK800 with 80mm Mechatronics fan @7v, 120mm side blowhole @5v, 92mm top blowhole @5v

That gives me a XP1700 @ 2.4Ghz sitting at a load temp of 38c at the moment, room temp is 20c. and it's not very noisy at all. The 38c is a diode temp as well

like trash man i've fitted a 120mm side intake - before my £7 coolermaster silent on 2500+ @ 2,2 was getting 53 load - > now its 43. so i can well recommend it. This keeps my zalman'd 9700, my north bridge and all the mosfets around the cpu cool as well. and the only thing thats loud is the sound of my 3 ibm deskstars slowly breaking....

i would but my £220 minolta dimage X has just broken 5 days out of warranty. If i could only explain how happy i am at this precise moment. Allow myself a moment of optimism to mention that in the last week i have switched t a 2500-m, which is running at 2.4, 1.6v, 36deg c - so even cooler than before.

As a guide you need a mmmm blood hell wassit called - a side cuttery thingy. erm dra. DREMEL YES a dremel. ffs what a brain fart. and some sticky tape to stop the paint splintering. and a cd to cut round as they're 12cm. and a nice quiet 12cm fan. With careful positioning you can cool mosfet, NB, graphics, ram, and supply nice cool air to ur cpu heatsink. no lies my cpu temp dropped 10c, though admitadly my airflow was banjax b4 that.

What i didnt mention was that cos my comp, like most ppls, sits under my desk up against the left side, i had to cut a 13 cm hole in my desk to let air get through . Just hope it doesnt collapse under my crt...
