    Project: YUKI

YUKI is a personal adventure of modding and watercooling. Injecting my own personality into the design.

    The base case

Such a simple beginning, coming from the humble and forgotten beige box that we all once owned, but a perfect way to begin by recycling an old friend.

    Front naked:

    Top:

    A nice blank canvas

All rivets removed, and case separated

the 5.25" / 3.5" bays are missing from the picture

    The RAD

    Sprayed "chrome"

Front panel marked up for 120mm fan cutout

Back panel marked up for 120mm fan cutout

    Re: Project: YUKI

That looks like it's a decent width for an old case.

Have you considered 140mm fans in the front?
After using a couple of yateloon 140mm I was most impressed, there was a little motor buzz, but the air flow and noise was vey good.
Thoes couple of extra centemeters seemed to have a larger impact than I expected.

I cannot help but think that project spork has really been inspireing people

    Re: Project: YUKI

now i know why you asked gerrard for those extra angles on that gate/archway thing in japan

-just bumping my post count, don't mind me

i was also wondering where the gaffa was going to be used.

you wont be disappointed with the enermax twisters - i got an 80mm in my case - its the quietest thing i've ever owned - even on full speed its quiet.

I wish my case came apart that easy. It was a royal pain to mask it. Looks like you'll be spared the experience Your project looks quite interesting. Looking forward to see how it develops.

About the best use for them, that and cutting the pulg off to use when I rewired a silverstone fan.

Oh and I still have one left which I use as a minimum base line when doing my simple comparative fan tests.
