Scout but I don't like the look exterior, however the Hades seems a bit too impractical with the disk drives.

    Fix your links btw.

Re: NZXT hades or CM storm scout?

Because of the led temp display and the fan speed controller, I went for NZXL

Re: NZXT hades or CM storm scout?

Thank you for that pointless comment.

I did like the overall look of the Hades, the mesh/filters used of the red led fans dampens the effect and makes it far more subtle than most cases with led fans on the front and side.

However I discovered a major issue that has totally put me off it and made it a major fail in my eyes.
the Big 200mm side panel fan blocks the use of many after market cpu coolers, you have a max clearence of 131mm for cpu cooler which rules out every 120mm fan based tower cooler, it will even get in the way of a 120mm rad with two fan in push/pull mounted on the rear 120mm fan slot.

Re: NZXT hades or CM storm scout?

Ouch somone is a little touchy, beings the person had already bought his case the NZXL i just thought i would say that i like the scout case personaly. No need to rant on really as it would no longer matter to the outcome of his decision "cough".

Sorry does every post need to fulfill a requiment to more then a few simple words to ones preferencess ?.

    Sorry, but just saying

Means nothing as you've given no indication as to why you like the Scout or why you think it's better.
And as you've pointed out, he's already bought it, so saying you like the scout without any reason adds nothing to the thread.

I've mentioned the issue with the Hades as a warning to the OP (if he wants to get an aftermarket cpu cooler at a later point) or to anyone else considering the Hades, that there is a major issue with this case and clearence for after market coolers.

"I prefer the stylling of the Scout" or "I think the Hades is ugly compaired to the Scout" would have some meaning and does not take hours to type.

Re: NZXT hades or CM storm scout?

Just the fact I'm building a new pc myself and that the CM Storm Scout was my choice of new case. Good value for money looks nice I've heard they are quiet and will stay cool also fit most graphics card in which can be a problem.

    Sorry tao65
