    Xigmatek Asgard

I'm thinking of this or the Coolermaster 335 for my new case; but the Xigmatek looks like a winner.

Anybody have any experience with this case? Would like to know what extra fans to invest in.

    Re: Xigmatek Asgard

I've tried two PSU's in this case and neither fits properly.
Wiring options are poor to say the least.
tool-less drive fixings didn't exactly fit up correctly either.
Power button has a tendency to get stuck in.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Hmmm ok, thanks for the insight. Perhaps it would be better in the long run to spend the extra £10 or so and get the Antec 300...

    Re: Xigmatek Asgard

I found it quite a good case, didn't have any trouble fitting the power supply. The locks for the drives seem to work fine and I haven't had any problems with the power button. Only thing I didn't like was the quick release locks for expansion cards as they don't hold the cards in tight. Loads of room to work with with and the vents in the side panel let you install 2 x 140mm fans should you wish.
120mm fan fitted to front of the chassis is a bit noisy but down at 7V it's fine. Mounting for 120mm fan on the rear panel and all black inside the case. Bought mine for £23 from Scan on a Today Only deal and at that price it's well worth it.

Thanks for the input still trying to decide what case to go for really. Certainly going for cheaper this time, as I regret spending £80 on my last PC for a case :S

    Re: Xigmatek Asgard

It's an ok option vs the CM 330 or 335 basically the same case.
The toolless pci card locks are not very good as with all plastic toolless card locks. (the only good one is the Lian-Li/LanCool one and that's a aluminium mechanical slide lock)

The antec 300 or NZXT Evo Beta would be good cases to look at
The silverstone precision PS02 is an often overlooked decent case http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Silve...r-Case-w-o-PSU (and was actually better than the ps03 and ps04 IMO)

    Re: Xigmatek Asgard

Might as well take the PS04 over the PS02 as it's exactly the same but slightly cheaper with the new fully black innards and maybe even better cable management.

    Re: Xigmatek Asgard

No the ps03 is more expensive, fully black inside and different front/top bezel (personally I prefer the ps02 looks to the ps03) apart from that they are exactly the same AFAIK
You might be thinking of the ps04
    ps04 = £35, ps02 = £40, ps03 = £43
However the ps04 in not the same inside, it's narrower and shorter, which means there's no top fan slot as there's no space for it as the motherboard is almost touching the top of the case, it's also thinner steel if I remember correctly.
