How Do I Go About Re-Doing My Cosmos RC1000 In Black?

    Hi people,

    Hope you're all good!

Just would like some pointers, I've the above and it seems to be a bit discoloued somehow to my eyes, I may be wrong and am seeing things!

However, if not, I've never done any paint jobs of this sort, could you point me to how to go about doing this and what sort of finish can I expect? What paint to use? Spraying?

Any info to get me started and to see if it's worth me possibly not wrecking my lovely case!

Oh yeah, the case handles etc, can I paint them in black? The inside, what would I do with that, could always leave it!

    Thanks, appreciate your help!

Depends on the final finish you're after and how good you want it.

If you are willing to pay you could take it to a place that paints cars, having it resprayed with automotive grade paint.
Not sure what the cost would be like.

Chilledpc do a powder coating service but it's not cheap

Also do anodising but that's even more expensie and aluminium only http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...products_id=85

If you want to do it yourself with spray cans, then it's relatively easy, but things like a high gloss surface take quite a bit of time and patience
