Moving psu from top to bottom - Advice?

I've never done this before, yes i've got skills in cutting straight lines and i've the tools to create complex designs with metal, but i am feeling abit nervous cutting the back of this case, there is alot to think about with moving the motherboard up and the psu down, it's mainly down to me liking the psu being at the bottom, i feel it helps with cooling in the machine, could i be wrong? Maybe but i've yet to find that out. Does anyone know of good advice for this? also does anyone know if this benifits a build or makes cooling worse? i'm under the impression it helps with cooling. thanks!

I did it in project spork (see my sig )

It does depend on the case, how it's constructed and the materials used, I'd not like to try it on anything more flimsy than that case I used and I had to reinforce it to make something that wouldn't collapse under it's own weight.

Re: Moving psu from top to bottom - Advice?

In terms of cooling it does open up a better range of options, all down to pressure design.

Current pc's put out a lot of heat, even with increased efficiency from die shrinks the ever increasing speed has meant an increase in heat, esp when overclocking.
moving the psu to the bottom of the case help reduce the heat levels of the air the psu intakes which helps increase the life of the psu and improve the efficiency, while placing addition exhaust fans in the top is basically the only place you can put them while maintaining a smooth flow of air through the case.
