Magnetic Ultra Fan - nightmare noise !!!!

Did any of you good people ever tried or even use : Cooltek TMD Fan II - (74 mm)

This is how it looks like :

    http://www.pc-cooling.ch/tpl/2003004...276fdf87bc8574

    http://www.pc-cooling.ch/tpl/2003004...276fdf87bc8574

I just purchased one thinking it will nicely fit before my side duckt.

My god, even alone in your hand this is 40,0 dBa !!!

When it comes near case, this is a nightmare, we are talking vacuum cleaner noise !!!!

Tried to isolate surface with rubber but only with moderate level of noise.

Only if it is lying on the flat surface, noise is tolerant.

    Anyone had this thing?

    But why?

My AMD64 3200 is much warmer then your Pentium 4,
and I use right now only 3x 80mm Spire case coolers all 22 dB and under the table I even don't think about it.

Why would you place 4 (????) of this loud monsters in your case if you use normal cool P4?

I think I'll have to reduce this Cooltek by 50% and then I guess it will be normal noise, maybe even 75%, after all
    he is in duckt space.

I was seeing how far i could overclock it on air. Iirc i got it to around 2600/2700 but it became unstable after that Was running very hot because of the voltage increase i had to do.

lol I've replaced all my fans in my case with the coolermaster aeroblower and even though these shift a shedload of air, they are in fact fairly quiet.

heres a link to the little ( well their not that little to be honest ) fans

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=65354

    and for the people that want the technical specs here they are below ;
    • Airflow: 19.9~20.9 CFM
Variable Speed: Yes - Yes (variable-resistor)
      Heatsink Dimensions: 80 x 80 x 70mm
      Sound Level: 23.6~37.5dB(A)
      Thermal Compound Included: No
      Manufacturer: Coolermaster
      Rated Speed: 1900~3500rpm

Not too shabby - and I've got 7 of these puppies running now lol

This cooler of yours, I've just look into your link.
23.6~37.5dB is fine, but very strange design.

From short moment reading and looking to small picture it seems it blows to the floor of the case? - because its body, one to be firmed with screws makes this final position.

Or this (?) thing is cooling from both sides ?

From what I see very strange design.

It sucks in from the side, and blows downwards.
