    gold ide cables

I’m working on a new case mod and would like to have gold coloured ide cables in it.
I have seen copper and silver but not gold. Even gold over braid would be good.
Also even harder, gold case fans? Possible? Maybe clear with a gold blade.
Or is it possible to strip down an alloy fan and have it anodized gold.
I’m planning on a clear case with all gold parts psu, mobo, mem, pro fan, easy
I can also get all my drive metal plated on the cheep. But these two things would finish it of good. Any ideas…or seen any thing ….thanks

Ebuyer have some very cheap rounded Eide cables in a yellow plastic covering. Not sure if they would be suitable for the gold look though

i could possibly use them as a last resort.
it might be possible to wrap gold wire on the out side of the round section and maybe gold foil on the plug cover, might give it the same look as the moon landing type thing.
any thing is poss i supoze. thanks

Maybe you could spray the cables gold. I think I have heard of a kind of spray that stretches, so it won't crack went you bend it. I'll try and find out for you.

You could try to use gold latex spray paint. Since it’s a rubber-based paint, latex does not crack because of vibration or the expansion and shrinkage. But I don't know if is will to the extent of a cable.
