    CoolerMaster Storm Enforcer Filters

    Afternoon

Basically was wondering if anyone had the case and managed to change front intake and psu intake filters. Right now its just a mesh which holds on hope need something solid and more permanent.

    Anyone?

    Re: CoolerMaster Storm Enforcer Filters

I've not got the enforcer but I do have the HAF 912+ which is the case the enforcer is based off.

The filter s a thin metal mesh sheet, if the enforcer is the same (which I believe it is) then you'll find that the front metal mesh of the bezel has some tab sections that the filter mesh slides under to hold it in in place.
You need to bend the sheet slightly to slot it in and becareful of the edges of it as they are quite sharp.

I must admit I've found the front filter to be probably the weakest part of the case, not the easiest of things to remove and replace for cleaning, on top of that the holes are a bit big and the material between the holes is a bit thick (at a rough guess it looks like it's only a 50:50 hole vs material ratio)

I'm planning on modding my HAF 912+ this summer and that filter is one of the things on my list I'm looking at replacing.

If you're after an off the shelf solution you can just buy, then the answer is no.
The best you could do is buy a 200mm fan filter and fit it to the front fan http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2758.html

That's not so say it's not possible, but it will involve you actually adapting or making something.

Just to let you know I'm planning on doing something like that again for my HAF 912+ although I'm currently considering getting some small magnets that I can stick onto it to hold it in place on the metal mesh of the bezel.
In theory you probably could get some to help hold the current mesh in place or even just some bluetac if you want to go all ghetto.
