    Re: case help

On the bitfenix, there is a couple of issues with it.
I doesn't include a rear 120mm fan and the two 200mm fans are quite low rpm, so they fairly low air flow, but they are very quiet.
It'll depend on what you're thinking of putting in there, although you'd probably want to fit a rear fan regardless as that has a major effect.
The other big issue it the ends of the wraparound plastic bezel.
It does depend how often you're going to be digging around inside your case to how big an issue this is.
Basically to remove the side panels you have to remove the end sections of the bezel which are held on by sunk screws, which means you need a screwdriver to get them off and standard screw driver most ratchet screwdrivers are too short and wide to get too the screws.

on the lian-li, also look at their lancool range
    new pc-9X http://www.scan.co.uk/products/lian-...usb-30-w-o-psu
same case as the pc-8fi but steel bodied with aluminium bezel (the X on the model number means black interior btw) although it lacks the option for a top fan.
    or the K59 http://www.scan.co.uk/products/lian-...usb-30-w-o-psu
personally I don't think it looks as nice as the old k58/k60/k62, but it is a better drive cage layout, like the k58 it hasn't got top fan fitted as standard, but you can 140mm fans only if you get hold of the lian-li grommeted screws. http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-11595.html
there's also the k63 which like k62 has all the fans fitted, but they are blue led fans and it also have a window.
There is no k61 version like the k60 ie has the fans but non-led ones and no window, for a cleaner planer look.

EDIT:One I would look at from bitfenix is the new Raider case
    http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/pr...hassis/raider/
    reviews http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Bitfenix/Raider/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXx1N-yiMDU
ebuyer £70 http://www.ebuyer.com/318706-bitfeni...dr-300-kkn1-rp doesn't come with a top fan but a 200mm can be fitted and the shape of the hole is a dead give away that it's the same internal frame as the survivor

    What case is that?

    And like it how?

    similar is what regards?
how much are you willing to spend? roughly

You could look at something like the ACTS 840 http://www.scan.co.uk/products/coole...silver-w-o-psu it's seriously massive, aluminium, good cooling, not cheap but it's actually fairly reasonable for a full aluminium case of that size for £150 (it used to be £180-190ish) if you're willing to spend that sort of money.

    Re: case help

Is that your actual pc peter? (in the youtube video)

Actually I quite like that case, it's a full tower but a decent feature set for the age, there's a lot of modding potential in that case.

PSU on a removable plate, means it would be easy to change the hole and adjust the psu height position, allow for fans or even a water cooling rad to be fitted into the top.

This is a full tower case, kind of looks like your old case, fits about anything and you can get a windowed side panel for it too. Not personally a fan of the looks, but you said that's what you're after.
Does it have to be a full tower ?
