    Fair well modbrothers

The Modbrothers forum is now gone
Due to falling traffic and personal reasons Ric M and FunkyStickman just couldn't keep it going.
It's a sad day for modding, most of those who where on there has gone over to bit tech

I'm currently looks to see if I can find someone with a copy of the forum or some sort of back up as there was I couple of things I did which where only on there and I forgot to back them up myself.

I read what happened - both them have to pay medical bills and in both cases it was not even their fault. We criticise the NHS,but the medical system in the US can be pretty harsh.

    Re: Fair well modbrothers

Yes, it's not just the money but also the time, They had a major spambot issue (I was a mod there, we must of got 20-50 spam posts a day) the situation was fixable but would of required a major reconstruction of the forum in the back end.
On top of that there had been a big drop in traffic, many case modders what moved over to other forms of "media" rather than forums, because they get more traffic and hits.
Blogs, twitter, facebook and video blogs have greatly decreased forum traffic and a small niche subject like modding is hard to sustain on it's own and that was the reason for themodbrothers a forum dedicated solely too modding, no other hardware related stuff.
Granted the other part of it's founding was certain personality clashes, which tore apart the modnation forum before it.

    I tried that no luck
I've managed to pull most of one of my logs from google cache, Project Dichotomy, which only used to exist on there, I've started reposting it in the project log section now however I'm missing the original design thread and page 3 of the build log
