    The UK’s first ever Mod-Fest

Nobody likes beige any more, and PC World are celebrating this with a modding competition.
PC World will be hosting the UK’s first ever ‘Mod-Fest’ – a showcase event for the weird and wonderful world of PC modding this Saturday 10th July at their Croydon superstore.

PC modding is a new and growing trend among PC users who want to express their creativity and personalise the look of their PC, be it a shrine to Barbie or a miniature disco extravanganza. With all the components now readily available, the only limit is your imagination.

    Highlights of the event are:

    - Competition for the UK PC Modding Championship crown
    - On show - extreme PC modding, PC overclocking and gaming
    - Technology and Games Preview Showcase from industry leaders come and meet Intel, AMD, NVidia, Ubisoft and others
    - Modding clinic – providing technical advice and help in association with Custom PC magazine

    When – Saturday 10th July 2004, 9.00am to 6.00pm

Where – PC World superstore, Purley Way, Croydon
Sounds like it's well worth a look if you're into modding or want some inspiration for your next mod.

So guys, is anybody planning on going down to take some pictures? I would if it wasn't so far away from me.

The Custom PC's ... PCs are slower than mine they had a X800 Pro and X800 XT neither as fast as my 600mhz core. The nVidia 6800U PCI-E was impressive in farcry very snappy. Fit nVidia bird!
