Hey guys, first post here, so a hello to everyone.
I'm currently building a new pc consisting of the following:
i5 3570k
Asus Maximus v Gene
Corsair H100
16GB Corsair Dominator
GTX 690
I currently have a Lian-Li PC-A77 case, although it's great, it's kinda too big for my needs and wishing to downsize. Since I don't plan to do any water cooling apart from the H100, nor Quad-SLI and the MB is m-atx, id figured id go for a small case. Currently I'm torn between the Corsair 500d and the Lian-Li PC-v700WX. Both cases look well built, good cable management and look great.
I would probably go for the Lian-Li in a heartbeat knowing how good their cases are, yet the thing that's got me worried is that the H100 wont fit due to the rad fans catching on the 8-pin EPS connector. I was looking into how well some 120*12mm or 120*20 fans could replace the ones supplied with the H100 would perform, mainly the Yate Loons or Scythe Kaze-Jyuni Slim Slip Streams.
Unless there's a better way to reroute EPS connector? Like a EPS angle connector similar to the Sata cables.
Maybe if it bought some braided cables to go with my Corsair PSU, they'd be more pliable and could be bended more.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
