I can recommend the Sonata as a good general purpose case and its very quiet.

I have used the minuet as an HTPC case but it got too hot and only takes half height cards.

The case you buy depends on what you are going to put in it ?

If it's for general PC usage I second the Sonata. I have one and like it very very much. Quiet, EXCELLENT PSU, and not bad cosmetically speaking either.

hmm... I've got a 550w PSU that I'd like to keep using as its fairly new, quiet as hell and provides enough power for my system and the watercooling setup, does the sonata allow the use of standard ATX power supplies?

It would, but if you already have a good 550W PSU (i.e. it doesn't say "Q-Tec" on the side just under the scorch marks), then the Sonata isn't the case for you, since it already has a PSU fitted (a damned nice 380W). Better would be http://www.antec.com/us/pro_details_...p?ProdID=09160. Has a lot of the same features (quiet 120mm fan plus another 120mm enclosure, rubber mountings for drive bays etc) just no PSU. Savastore have em for £88.11 inc VAT. Or the Super LANboy , which dabs have for £61.99 inc VAT .

    lol I said a 550w PSU not a 550 PCK ( Personal Computer Killer )

That P160-EU looks kind of sweet and I like rotational USB and ports on the top, such a great idea.

Had an Overture and a 660AMG. Both nice cases, but the overture took up too much space and the 660 was a bit cramped inside. Its easy enough to swap out the old psu and flog it on fleabay for £30+, thats what I did with the 660.

I do & I've got all 3 of the cases above and thought I'd have a mooch @ the antecs as they are always getting rave reviews and everyones always chirping on about their quality.

I've seen the PLUSVIEW1000AMG and might get this or the coolermaster stacker now for my new AMD 64 based gaming machine.

    Damn all these hard choices

Antecs are great. I've got an Antec Super LANBoy and it's far far better than my PC-75 case that I had.

antec super lanboy is apparently good init kezzer
looks nice, and is supposed to be very silent. if youve got the money i personally like lian li v1100/v2100's, and CM wavemasters ;x
er, if your northbridge fan is humming loudly, disconnect it. _dont_ kick the side of the case, it _will_ break it.
    i know :/

I have a Super Lanboy see the case gallery or the workspace gallery. It is pretty quiet, although I only have one hoover of a case to compare it too. I think the loudest thing in it is the Radeon, which I might passively cool when the warranty dies.

I can't recommend the Plusview 1000AMG to you enough WildMonkey - Although admittedly your other consideration, the CM Stacker, looks to be an exceptional case too.

So I haven't been much help but you can't go wrong with either of those cases.
