NZXT Vulcan Case - any good?

Hi there my husband has been hinting that he'd like a new case for his birthday, he's currently got an Alienware one but it's too big for the space we have. I think he'd like the Vulcan but can anyone advise me if it's any good and recommend a good PSU that I could buy at the same time for use with it? Much obliged, Nic

the vulcan isn't a bad case, however it is an mATX so it's limited in the size of motherboard it can take.
So it might be too small to fit the current alienware motherboard and some of the older ones used BTX rather than ATX which would be an even larger headache, it'll all depend on which alienware you have.

    Welcome to Hexus Forums Bamasmama,

firstly what kind of equipment the PC will you use the PSU for as buying a PSU that has a too higher wattage is a waste of energy and efficiency and you also need to have enough power to power the components.

Secondly any particular dimensions of an ideal case would be useful, but I would recommend the Corsair range of cases especially the Carbide series. It will also depends if he needs high air flow from the case if he runs his components to the max
