    Cases

What cases can people recommend for a Pc to go in the bedroom? I have tried all the fan gaskets, quiet psu but it seems the problem I have is the case. It only holds 80mm fans (noisy due to small size) and the PSU has almost no breathing space underneth and runs hot even though it should be quiet !

Any ideas? Tried everything with little success

    try: http://www.quietpc.com/uk/tnn500a.php

Completely silent. Although you might break a toe tripping over it in the middle of the night popping to the loo. :-)

    I wish I could .............

If only I could afford one !!! What do you think about a Sonata? I have tried everything you and others have suggested to make my current set-up silent!

I am absolutely gutted!!! I am even more pi**ed off with the missus moaning mind you it is noisy!

I have the sonata. it is a good case, however only as silent as the components u put in there. Dont expect to put in an FX series dustbuster in there and expect it to drown out the noise

Apart from that, great case. Love the hdd cage arrangement. makes it much more easier as compared to other Lian Li/CMs I have owned in the past.

New member and therefore late reply:

Did you try a fan controller? e.g.if you install four Fans and let them run slowly by a fan controler you keep your cooling effect and will have less noise. Look at www.akasa.com.tw and have a look at the type AK-FC-03
