Depnds on taste and budget really. I'm more of the understated monolith persuasion like the 550D or the R4. These are much cheaper than the Cosmos though. I suspect they'd disappoint you. What are you after ?
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Damn - In the Cosmos price range I would have recommended the FT02

Something from Lian-Li ?

Or another Cosmos looks really good.

i am actually looking for something more modern looking and decent quality case ... the new cosmos looks identical to my current one

Corsair Obsidian 650D looks great and (from reviews i've read) is a dream to build in.
The large clips for removing the side pannel says it all for me, Corsair appear to have gone the extra mile to give you a great building experience.
& 2x 200mm fans will keep things cool.
How modern are you looking as I mean that can be interpreted in either sleek minimalistic design or over the top fans and crazy styling all over the place. I personally have grown tired of the ridiculous looks and went for minimalistic, but then that's me and tastes differ. Have you any suggestions of things you like other than modern looking and a window. Any examples? Any preference on inside features (removable motherboard tray, cable grommets, removable HDD cages, 200mm/140mm fans, USB 3.0 fittings)? Colours? The more you give us to play with the better the chances of finding something you'll really like.
Corsair 600T would be my choice in that budget and spec....and it was
Amazingly nice case to work with....although a little wide for some people.

Would something like an NZXT Phantom be more of the 'modern' look you want?
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/nzxt-...usb-30-w-o-psu
Or the ThermalTake Level 10:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/therm...ns-new-version
both come in a range of colors.
i want a tower that looks sleek and not over the top with a side window .... removable motherboard tray, cable grommets, removable HDD cages including fitting for ssd drive, either 200mm or 140mm fans, USB 3.0 fittings would be cool ... that link to the thermaltake case was nuts .... the case i have just know is huge ... a tower that can fit a asus P8 Z77 v deluxe mobo and a hd6850 graphics card

currently two towers have appealed to my taste the only problem CM Storm Stryker has no esata option whereas the CM Storm Trooper has ... but if i am being honest i like the strkyer more visualy

It may not be what you are really looking for, but for me, full height cases are all about space for holding things, like drives. And if you want to be able to do that a lot, then how about 11x external 5.25" drive bays and 6x internal 3.5" bays?

And whatever you get, make sure you have room for cabling behind the motherboard! It pisses me off when they make a nice looking case but neglect that area!
have you seen the level10 gt or gts
Go for the storm trooper/ striker.
Awsome case (Got one at work) really good look great dust filering lots of space
My 10 pence worth
nzxt switch is a really nice case to work with give that a go
