    Nanoxia Deep Silence 1

I've always been very tempted by the Define R3/4 for my next case, but this is looking quite tempting as well.
Perhaps not quite as pretty but maybe slightly more practical in some areas.

There are multiple reviews out there, but none seem to have any actual performance numbers :/

    Thoughts?

The R3 does look prettier though. I did a build with one last year:

The Fractal R4 has removable drive bays so you can fit longer cards:

Yes, i got the email to from quietpc, looks nice.

I'm tempted to get either this or a Fractal R3/R4. Never spent that much on a case before but would really appreciate a quiet tower this time.

Looks ok for an office pc. But the temperature inside will rise quickly when gaming. Those front fans can hardly suck in any air...

The Define series has a very similar design and has good temps, and that only has 1 front fan.

But yeah would be interesting to see some comparisons with other cases.

I wish more cases gave options on relocating the 3.5" bays.

    Re: Nanoxia Deep Silence 1

Both the Fractal R3 and R4 can take a pair of front fans. TBH,temperatures with a Phenom II X6 1045T and an HD4830 seem fine, and that is after the CPU has been at 100% load for a couple of days, and the system is still quiet.

My temps are fine with Fractal Design's Core 1000 case, which is a simple as they get (within branded space). i5-3570k idles at 34 C and goes up to 85 C under load (OCed to 4.3 GHz). Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 LE for a CPU fan and two CM SickeFlow 120mm for intake and Noctua NF-B9 92mm for exhaust.

Your case has a meshed front cover. The Deep Silence only has some tiny opening on the side of the front panel. And the two front fans are also hindered by the thick sound dampening and tiny openings in the plastic dust filter. There is no way those slow spinning fans can pull any air thru that.

I would like to see the temps compared to other cases.

    Re: Nanoxia Deep Silence 1

The Define has the same setup and as others have said has perfectly adequate cooling.

Don't forget that Nanoxia is a fan making company, presumably their fans are pretty good and it also comes with an integrated fan controller meaning you can easily max the fans if needed.
