    Flat pack Rack Alternative

    Hi all,

I am looking for a 1/4 rack (in cab if possible) to put in my loft.

I've not been able to located any "flat pack" racks/cabs let alone 1/4 size. Anyone got any alternatives or good ideas that would house a collection of machines in a rack style and provide some good cooling options.

    thanks

We talking proper rack servers or self built stuff?

Comms cabinets usually come in Small U factor (8u upwards) but as they're designed for comms stuff, are usually not deep enough for "proper" servers.

Hmm, the only small ones I've seen are the comms ones, designed for switches etc..

I'm sure you can get them though, might be woth a look through the RS catalogue (http://rswww.com)
