looking for a case guys.... can you help?

Looking for a new case, I need to build a system for a firend see the link below, and need a new case, nomore that £50 I guess, needs to be good with not to much plastic tat… cheap as possible really, and if you guys know of one with a quite power supply built in (450w plus) then that would be sweet…

Bobby Sixkiller! :why is there's no spanking smiley:

I mentioned the CoolerMaster Centurion in your other thread, it's a fantastic case for it's price and looks the part with an aluminium front. It's not cheap crap and is very well built and very stable.

Trust me, you won't get a non-plasticy case with a decent 450W PSU for £50. It's not worth the bother even looking for one. Centurion ~£40, decent PSU like the names I listed (Antec, Enermax, CWT, etc.) ~£40. You could get away with a 350W version as they will be more than powerful enough for your needs.

There are other, and probably better, etailers than Ebuyer you know!

Nah, I'd understand it if you deal with them all the time and have never had any problems. I've never had any problems with Aria either, but people still recommend others to me!

i use loads of them, but i find if i'm builing a system for someone (which i have not done apart from shuttles for at least 18months! (as you can tell lol) it's better to order from one company as it saves shed loads of P&P and any RMA'ing is easier. but i will look around once i have finished the order... which i will post for you to look at.

what is your job anyhow mate?

I'm a part qualified Accounting Technician... though my current job is just an Accounts Assistant position.

Am looking for a new job, with a £5k pay rise (at least) in mind.

I really wanna work in IT though, but I can't afford the pay drop. Once I get a better job, I'll be doing some IT courses though, perhaps an OU degree in Computing.

yeah keep pushing away at them to chuck you on courses, it's the best way!

is the Tagan 380W Low noise Power Supply good enough for me @ 52 including VAT from aria?

Sorry, interweb connection went down (had to do some work! )Sure, Tagan are good. Other options:

    POC-ENE-NT-EG375 Enermax Noisetaker 370W ATX 1.3 £41.00 ex, £48.18 inc.
    POW-SPS-450XPA-P Levicom 450W ATX PSU £43.00 ex, £50.53 inc.

They should all be good enough for your needs I think.
