    HAF 912 vs Antec 302

Choosing between these two cases for my new build. Will be able to get the Antec one for around £10-15 cheaper. Anybody got any suggestions on which to pick or had any experience with either of these two cases? Thanks.

Go for the Antec. I personally have one and I am very pleased with it. It has lots of space to work on, comes with 2 pre-installed fans, very quiet and cable management space is enormous for a chassis of this price.

If it's the basic 912 (ie not the +) then probably go with the Antec. I have the HAF 912+ and it's a very good case - the hdd bay rearrangments I found especially useful and it has all the usual things like great cable management, motherboard cutout for HSF bracket, toolless and some nice touches. Lots and lots of cooling, but it's noisy if you have noisy components as there's so much mesh that there's little sound insulation.

Re: HAF 912 vs Antec 302

I've got my HAF912+ pretty damn quiet, the only thing I'm having an issue with is one of my hard drives puts out a lot of vibrations causing a resonace hum, which make it the loudest thing in the case.
I've fitted a 120mm fan on the side and a 200x20mm fan (bitfenix) to the top, + the stock 120mm rear and 200x38mm front fans, all controlled via my motherboard so they don't run at 100% (around 70% speed)
My other minor complaints with the HAF912+ is that the front filter is not very good, it catches some dust and almost all the fluff but it does let quite a bit through.
And it lacks USB3 front panel sockets.

The width of the HAF912+ is really lovely, makes cableing easy.
I've no major complaint with it at all.

ps the HAF912 is not offically sold in the EU, only the HAF912+ is sold in the EU, so you cannot get it here unless it's a grey inport or a 2nd hand case that's you bought from overseas.

I'd sugest looking at the LanCool PC-K63B as an alternative to both, not the best looking of designs lian-li has come up with, but it's still a good well layed out case with the best toolless features of any case, comes with a full set of 5 fans so no additional fans need to be added to the cost and it's still a bit cheaper than the HAF912+
