Cm Storm Enforcer Side Panel Doesn't Align

The side panel on my case is bent slightly, and so leaks a lot of light from the front case fan. I have previously emailed CM support, but after 5 emails explaining what light leaking meant, and waiting for few more weeks over Xmas they said they could not prove I hadn't done the damage and so couldn't offer a replacement....

Is there nothing I can do in this matter? I guess my only other options are to :

    A. Live with it
    B. Buy another side panel and hope it fits
    C. Buy another case and *ahem* do a swaperoo

Have you raised it as an issue with the retailer?

Marketplace Sellers on Amazon.co.uk offer a returns policy which is equivalent to or better than the returns policy offered by Amazon.co.uk.
From http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/cust...nodeId=1161010 should be the same process as if direct.

To initiate a return of an item purchased from a Seller, please visit the Online Returns Centre and select "Return items". Select the item you want to return and a reason for the return.

If I click on return for my case it'll say 'its been past 30days', no? Sme happened to my psu.

Re: Cm Storm Enforcer Side Panel Doesn't Align

Use the contact us button on this page http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/cust...?nodeId=502564 and sent CS a message.

I've done this previously for faulty items outside of the 30 day period.

Thanks so much! I'll be trying this for my case and also my PSU.

There's no option for 'faulty'... But I guess I just go through 'returns' and just email them. Would the fact that I have my computer components in my case at the moment be a pblem? I guess I could ask for a replacement panel actually, unless they'll cross ship.

    Thanks again!

Re: Cm Storm Enforcer Side Panel Doesn't Align

    OMD! Thanks soooo much!

I just got a reply from Amazon, saying they'll send me a new case, and I can just swap the panels! They said it'll be via First Class delivery, so it'll be here by Saturday. Another thing is that I managed to get a bit of the corner to fade ( tried to remove case sticker glue with acetone -bad idea!) so that'll be gone now! Just need to hope there's no colour change on the rest of the chassis, although if there is, I guess I can't really do much as I don't really want to go through the process of moving everything from one case to another. Although, if the new case panel doesn't fit, I don't know what I'd do...

Re: Cm Storm Enforcer Side Panel Doesn't Align

Right, the new case arrived today, and I quickly rushed to fit it's side panel on my case. However, there's both good and bad news. Good is that there is less light leakage and the panel isn't as warped. Bad news is that it is still slightly bent and there is still some light leaking....

Re: Cm Storm Enforcer Side Panel Doesn't Align

How do both panels line up with the new case? It could be that your case is a bit wonky rather than the panels?

Yeah that was what I was thinking. On the new case, the new panel is slightly out of shape. My old one on it is very out of shape.

Amazon decided that sending out another case for me wasn't such a good idea - so they've refunded me £10 / 15%....not bad
