    Corsair 350D with a view or without?

    Simple question. Windowed or non-windowed?

    In the Window corner;
    -View my lovely hardware/future water cooling loop

    In the Non-Window corner;
    -Cheaper
    -Potentially more sound proof (apply a big sheet to the side panel)

    My machine spends half it's life on a desk in full view, the other half below a desk where it's out of view.

    Help me choose...

    a window with curtains.

    I really don't think the window will make any difference to noise at all. So really it's just the price.
    If you are not sure I'd just get one with.

    The TJ08 is lovely but I porefer to keep my PC on the floor and I feel it is just too little for that.

    Get the non windowed version and then later on mod it and cut your own?

    See, mine spends a lot of time on the desk, so being slightly smaller is a bonus.

    I like the idea of cutting a custom window (maybe Asus ROG logo, or Nvidia logo and use coloured acrylic and lighting?) but the thought of using tools on a £90 case with no metal work experience scares me.

    Re: Corsair 350D with a view or without?

    Well it's not that cheap but there are a couple of places that do custom modding services
    http://chilledpc.co.uk/shop/index.ph...ory&path=60_68
    http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/...nstalls_3.html
    You send them your side panel and the design you want cut and they do the work.

    Or just check around your local area see if you can find any places that do metal cnc or laser cutting.
    Can take a bit of explaining to what it is you need, as putting a window in the side of a pc is a bit of an odd concept to many people.
