    Re: Best £50-80 Case

I build a PC with a Nanoxia Deep Silence (version 1) and I found it a very nice. But then I never build with a Define R3/R4. Most reviews seems to prefer it to the Define though:

There was also a thread on here last year

And scan have both the v1 and the v2 in various colours.

    Re: Best £50-80 Case

I don't particularly want an matx case but I don't mind because I currently have an matx motherboard so I need a case that supports it I know most do but I just thought I'd make sure no one says a case that doesn't support it.

The nanoxia deep silence 2 looks lika a good case but the two part front and the colour doesn't really look that good IMO.

The nanoxia looks very similar to the fractals, just made my decision even harder but then it's another option that I will need to look into to, thanks.

Anything made by Fractal is decent in my opinion. They keep it simple, logical and don't throw a bunch of ugly ass shapes and vector designs at you. I want my case to be silent, keep my components, and dust free.

Take a look at the NZXT H230. Basically, the successor to the Hush 2 -

    Re: Best £50-80 Case

I use the bitfenix survivor and have to say it's incredibly quiet and cable management is easy. Also can take massive cooler - I use the megahalems with room to spare, and it will take 12" plus graphics cards too. For a budget case it is surprisingly well built.

Only snag IMO is the silly fascia bits at rear which have to be removed before you can take the side panel off. Fortunately I only go in mine once in a while to clean out dust from the fan filters (which work seriously well). When I bought it it set me back £95 but you can now pick them up for £55. Bargain. I'd also check out some of their other cases as they seem to get good reviews across the board.

Where can you get it for £55?

Scan were selling them for £55 regularly a few months back - last time I checked anyway. Not been buying anything recently so not been there to look.

I vote for the Fractal Define Arc Midi R2. I use one for my server and it is very quiet.

    Seconding Davidt99's choice.
Worked with that case and it was a pleasure to work in it during and look at it after. If you can spare the pounds to the high end of your budget, do so and buy this case.
