ok im gonna go and wire up my own lcd, which should i get? i want a blue one but i dunno which

is it cheaper here than at crstal fontz?

is it hard to do this? all i need is printer cable thing, ide cable, lcd, and solder and stuff? is that all?

the rocker switch will be for my cold cathodes, but ya will the lcd fit in the 5.25 drive bay, with the rocker switch too? there alot cheaper than i thought

I've not done it myself but it doesnt look too difficult. There are plenty of good guides out there.

Are you ordering from the US?

Those Character LCDs look really cheap. Not sure how they compare to Crystal Fontz and Matrix Orbital tho.

ya i live in the US, at the characterlcds.com they dont have any blue with wite text 16x2, but crystal fonts has one for about 15 so im thinking about getting that

How do i hook it up to the serial? im kinda using a printer port but i dont use the 2 serial ports i have, do i need a serial lcd?
