Re: Computer Case/Mods Gallery
After seeing some of the awesome builds in here it's a tad embarrassing to post mine. Anyway, here's my modified CM Scout.

I replaced the smoked side panel with one i made from a clear sheet of acrylic and fitted a 200mm CM megaflow. Top 140mm fan was replaced by a Akasa 180mm fan. Yes i did open up the top vents. Bottom 3.25" cage was removed to improve airflow from the front 140mm fan (Enermax Twister) and i made a bracket for my 1TB HDD and SSD. Watercooling is external. The two pumps (2x Aquaextreme 50z's in series), XSPC 250mm passive reservoir and it's own psu are mounted in a box. The two rads, Thermochill PA120.3, Coolgate 360mm full copper are mounted in another box on a windowsill so i get the nice cool outside air going through them. I get some stupidly low temps in the winter!!
That is a old picture and the ram has been replaced by Samsung green and the graphics card (GTX480 in the piccy) has been replaced by a GTX670 which is cooled by a XSPC Rasa universal block.

NOTE: Wood burns at 270 degree Celcius so please don't make any comments about it catching on fire. Fun fact...solder will melt before wood burns. Also, if you think wood is an insulator and this computer would overheat then do a little research on the difference between convection and conduction. Hot electronics have been installed into wooden boxes for over a hundred years. Research tube radios and console TVs. Cheers!
Cool Concept.. really innovative..

My Build
Nothing too fancy, said this on another forum and will say it again. Quite impressed with this little case
(Apart from the lack of space behind the mobo
Whenever I upload these kind of pics, I realise just how dated my phone camera really is :o
