    Watercooling a 6800

Are there any solutions other than the DangerDen 6800 GPU waterblock?

I don't plan on going mad overclocking a 6800, I'm more concerned about the CPU o/c, and quietness, so I'd rather have a waterblock that doesn't dump the heat from the graphics RAM into the cooling loop.

    Thanks guys,
    Kez.

1/4" fittings! What do you think I am, soft?

I want 1/2" really as the waterblock will be that and I don't want to mess up the flow rates.

Think only the NV68 has 1/2 barbs remember it was one of the selling points on the dd website.

If you want a block that isn't gonna dump the heat into the watersystem, then stick to air, simple as that, anything thats efficient at cooling the 6800 is gonna do that.

But like i said, quietness is key here too. My point is I don't want to cool the RAM with water, as that will dump heat into the loop where some decent passive sinks will suffice.

Well I've been reading oc-uk forums Firelord and have had a change of plan. I'll stick with just the CPU block, see how that goes, then decide on whether to watercool the GPU, checking block availability at that time. I don't fancy modding a Maze 4 to fit.

You could always get an Artic Silencer for it What about the Asetek 1/2" GPU block?

What sized rad have you got?
