2.5" to 3.5" adaptor or caddy
Of course there are loads of adaptors out there, but I'm after one which specifically makes it a 3.5" drive with the SATA and power connectors lining up with those of a 3.5" drive so I can put them in hot swap bays designed for 3.5" disks.
I've only seen one or two around, but they tend to be pricey, well over £10 each which seems expensive.
I might try to convince my mate to make them for me with his 3D printer as it's an easy design to knock up. But if anyone knows a place to get them cheaply, please let me know.
Cheers :)

Interesting issue you have there . . .
You probably need to get a ruler out, because I'm not sure you can, due to the sata location.
I've found this http://www.crucial.com/pdf/tech_spec...-11_online.pdf
That shows the sata connector starts at 13.34mm from the edge of the ssd, I'm not sure about the spacing on a hdd, I've not found that you'll have to measure it.
Most of the adaptors are central which will not be in the correct place.
For a rack mount/hot swap something like this is going to be your best bet http://www.amazon.co.uk/Icy-Dock-MB8.../dp/B003CUVQ3U not really cheap
Other than that You're best off making something from scratch yourself.
What sort of bay is this going into?

Yup, that icybox you linked on Amazon is the one I did fine, and ok, it's not super expensive, but when you need half a dozen, it does add up.
It would be going into several bays, but the most common would be the bays from a HP microserver.
The connector on a 3.5" disk aligns with that of the SSD if they're aligned on the edge closest to the connector. So you'd need a very thin vertical plate coming up the side, or maybe something offset with a short connecting cable, like on that icybox.

Just found this http://www.tenniswood.co.uk/technolo...er-drive-tray/
Again £12 so not cheap if you're getting lots of them
Cannot remember if the screw holes on a 2.5" drive line up with the rear 2 holes on a 3.5" drive, if they do they you might be able to make a block that sits beside the 2.5" drive in the 3.5" caddy to fill up the empty space and give you some rigidity.
Remember SSD's don't need much in the way of secure mounting (one of the best ways to mount an ssd in a case is sticky backed velcro.
They are far lighter than hard drives and are unaffected by motion, the only real issue in your case is that quick release system, the drive needs to fit cleanly and be secure in the caddy for smooth operation.

Ooh I prefer that one too :D
The link doesn't seem to work, but I'll do some searching. Cheers!

Ok seems like syto is dead, but they seemed to be a bit of a cowboy operation any way.
NewerTech AdaptaDrive is the name of it, quick search gives

£21 inc P&P a pop, that's pricey. :(
