Choosing a lighting strip

Is there any good strip I could use? I want to go for the NZXT sleeved, because I do not want to cut the solder connections between the strips. Also, I think the 100cm ought to be enough. My case is the CM stryker.
Thoughts, suggestions welcome.
Re: Choosing a lighting strip
I think bitfenix do some led lighting aswell?(not sure if they are sleeved though!) I've seen a few cool led lights, but more like a ball thing... hang on i'll try to find (though they aren't strips :p) over at kustompc (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2214.html)

Anyways, i hope it helps!

BitFenix do indeed a huge range of LED lighting strips.

First off you need to understand what you are dealing with.
The NZXT kit is not an "led strip" it's a series of led's soldered onto wires which have been sleeved
what is commonly called an "LED strip" is a strip of plastic with an integrated circuit printed on it, surface mount LED's and resistors on it, you can buy it in rolls however, what is generally sold is pre-made kits, a fixed length of led strip light, with double sided tape backing pre-applied and wired up to a 4 pin molex or 3pin fan header for power.
If you buy a pre-made kit you do NOT want to start cutting it up unless you know what you are doing.
The strip can only be cut to certain lengths due to the circuit.
Don't get me wrong I do love LED strip, especially the kits, they are simple to use and very effective, I'd use one over a cold cathode tube any day
There's loads of places on ebay that do them as well as the "brands"
The main issue with them is corners, because this stuff is a tape you cannot bend it left or right, so for case lighting you might one or two strips.
Beyond that there's not a great deal of difference between them, one thing to look out for is the number of led's pre length, which is something some of the "brand" kits don't mention, they'll say how long it is but not how many led's
Re: Choosing a lighting strip
I have a pair of 600mm Lamptron FlexLight Pro (venom Green and Ice Blue) strips. Molex connectors, very bright LEDs, flexible enough that they fit almost completely flush into the case corner. The strip width perfectly matches the channels inside my case, too. I have them going up the inside of the front panel support strut and then across the top of the case, shining nicely toward the motherboard.

That's good to know Pob, i never realized! I so wouldn't be cutting them up though :p Yea the cathodes i avoid so much these days (i remember having some on my first rig years back)
