Corsair Carbide 500R - Spacious, feature-laden and everything you want from a great case, but in an affordable package!
    Just needs a decent window...

I like how they went a bit wild with that one, but it does look like a bunch of stuff someone found in a skip and welded together.

I like a lot of Bitfenix's designs, at the cheap-ish end of the market. I have a Shinobi.

In-Win's H-frame cases are pretty awesome, for something a bit more extravagant.

    Re: Favorite case?

I found the Corsair Obsidian 750D really nice and simple to look at. Plus it has lots of space depending on what you need.
I upgraded to this from a Silverstone TJ105.

    Re: Favorite case?

I still love the old WiNDy (aka SOLDAM which was a sort of unofficial US importer for them) cases, although I'm not sure if they exist any more
The ALCADIA ZR2000 in Black Knight colour scheme
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...lackKnight.jpg
Japanese full aluminium construction, exceptional build quality (these things outstrip the likes of Lian-Li and Corsair in terms of build quality) and came in a range of colours (black knight, was a matte black anodized outside and a glossy cherry red anodized interior)
They where not that wide inside due to the layout and double walled cooling system, but it did make them quiet.
Other major down sides where they where very very expensive (£400ish before shipping) and very hard to get hold of outside Japan

Although all told I find that I am a function over form person, which is why I'm happily putting up with the looks of the HAF912 atm, it's not the prettiest of cases but I just cannot fault the size, shape and layout.
Oh and let's not forget the price which used to be around £55
It's also the reason I don't think much of the thermaltake level 10 gt, inside it's nothing special, yes there's a lot of nice little features, eg the catch release side panel and external access hot swap drive bays, but at £200 I'm not sure. (remember this one wasn't designed by BMW that was just the original level 10, which is a really high quality work of art)
The white and black "snow" and the green and black "battle" editions do look better than the just back though.

I popped into a maplin yesterday (to get out of the rain) and they had a Zalman z9 and z11 on display, so I poked around in them a bit, they are both pretty nice cases (same internal frame), good build quality too.

I think the Mi-3 is looking really nice too.

    Re: Favorite case?

I use a white CM storm scout 2 case, I love it but the half window really annoys me. I'm going to get it cut to extend the window. Other than the window the case is perfect, really well built and solid unlike other cases i've seen.

    Re: Favorite case?

If I could have any case, I would love to build my own into a desk ala the l3p but much smaller. Alas, don't have the time or the skills...

    Re: Favorite case?

Well, I've just bought a Define R4 which is sitting behind me waiting for me to finish sleeving my PSU cables. It's a lovely case, but if I could afford it I'd probably have a TJ07 on water.

Love my white NZXT Swtich 810, having an absolute nightmare with the RMA though, been waiting for replacement fans since last October....tempted to switch to a Corsair Obsidian 750D though!
