Re: Antec 1900 Project
Looks good, infact I think it looks better than the normal all black, however does lead to the question, why didn't antec have that as a colour option in the first place?

Re: Antec 1900 Project
Or have any / decent watercooling options built in in such a mahoosive cae

Re: Antec 1900 Project
ummm you can fit a 240rad in the top at stock and with the drive cages removed a 2nd 240rad in the front, granted screws rather rivets to hold the cages in would be good.
But overall yes, it very limited without modding, lots of darive bays and cages but all non-removable, it's got a reasonable amount of fans (6 total 120mm fans pre-installed with spaces for 2 more fans on the back of the main cage and one between the cells) but again limited options without modding (120mm only, no additional intake/exhaust)
Granted it does have potential with modding but that is going to involve a lot of cutting up and it's not a cheap case to start with.
Looking at it I'd consider instead of removing the main drive cages, I'd instead remove the bottom cages, cut a big hole in the floor for a big 480rad so it pulls air in through the bottom of the case, through the rad then vents it out the lower psu hole in the back.
Although I'm more of an air cooler person and the lack of fan options puts me right off it.
Plus it does a couple of other thing I cannot forgive it for.
Namely front panel connectors attached to the bezel and he front bezel is also held on with screws.
Which would be ok if you didn't have to remove the bezel to get to the filters, but because you do have to it means first you have to remove the side panels, then unscrew the front bezel and you have great difficulty cable tieing the front connectors down because then cannot move the detached bezel to get to the fan filters.
Which are also held in place with screws.

Re: Antec 1900 Project
While I appreciate that most seasoned movers are aware of the risks, I would advise any to consider the safety implications of dismantling a power supply.
They contain potentially lethal voltages and care must be taken to ensure that insulation and earth bonding design features are not damages or rendered inactive.
Covering rating plates is not recommended, and any modification found render CE compliance invalid.
