You need to have some uv reactive stuff to show it off to its full extent :)
white objects also work very well... but UV reactive objects are mad!!! try putting some money near it :)
yer there is some stuff which is uv reactive in my case. although i do have a ~20" tube in my room (not comp) which lights up the whole room, uv reactive or not, maybe i was expecting too much.
do you have any other light sources within the case? i found that the light from a blue LED fan was interfering with the UV in a recent build for a mate
UV was good on the bottom half of the case, when it got to halfway (where the fan was in the case window) the UV didn't seem to reach the top - swapped out the fan & it made a lot of diffeence
well there is now but wasnt to start with......
i was disapointed until i got some uv reactive bits. and got the highligher pens out to put some ink on my normal fans
better they are dim so the don't clash with my normal cathodes.
from what i've seen they are pretty dull but give a really good affect. I suppose it depends on what UV reactive stuff you've got etc.
apparently the black UV tubes give of alot of UV light, and the white UV tubes give of alot of visible light (aswell as UV)
but even the white tubes are duller than ordinary cathodes
it will also find your dandruff:D
