Thinking of cutting into lian li side panel

Finally getting round to possibly modding my case (gonna cut a custom design chinese 'fire' symbol into the side)...

Will most likely buy a square piece of perspex to cover the holes...

Should I bolt the perspex to the outside of the case or the inside?
