I had a pair of Compunurse ones and they both died in a month or two. In the end i cut the thermal probes off and gave em to a mate with a digidoc

    Maplins

Ive got 2 of theses and they are easy to wire up and can be fitted with mulitple probes if you fit a switch to them.

I was considering two of those Maplin ones, one for the case temp and the other for the CPU temp.

But as you can connect more than one probe to it, could you just get one, connect two probes to it and get two readings on the display?

Also, whats the best positions for each probe?

The instructions arent very clear fbut from what i have worked out is that you need a switch to select whic probe it takes teh reading from - it won;t display both at the same time.

And i should image they keep them in store
