    Powerbase 18v Rotary Tool

Seems okay to me, no B&Q near me because I know they do a good Dremel Clone.. but this seems pretty good. Anyone ever used one? or have any opinions it's either this or a Jig-saw.

    Thanks in advance, Auron.

What I was wondering was if the rotozip ( or one of its clones) were any good for case cutting?

Rotozip, I wouldnt think so.. as they are just like a dril basically.. I think someone did attempt to use one but with results to be desired.

Anyone got any feedback for me before I purchase it tomorrow?

Just a warning, I wouldn't buy any Powerbase tools.

I work at Homebase on the information desk (where we deal with refunds and stuff) and I have had loads of Powerbase items returned. They either break or don't do the job properly.

We sell a good B&D rotary tool, apparently it's just as good as a dremel but a lot cheaper.

edit: Just realized this might be too late You'll probably be able to return it, if you want.

Hmm, whilst doing my first mod (window) the dremel spat out a chunk of metal from inside, and was then cream crackered. I was recommended a different make of "multi-tool" they are from Germany and are called "PROXXON" and im very hapy with it
