Case Recommendation

Hi all,

I am planning to rebuild my PC in a week or two's time and as part of this I've decided its time for a new case, so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

Criteria

• Full Tower
• Separate PSU compartment
• Side panel - not set in stone, but would like it

Budget - £200 is the max

My only requirements are what I've put above.
I don't care much for being silent to be honest as I have headphones on so very rarely hear the PC.

If I had to say something, it would be good airflow, but I would imagine most cases the Hexites would recommend would be good in this regards, as that's just the type of people we have here

Still a big fan of the Corsair 600T (even after going off of most of their other kit)...the new cases in that range also look mighty nice (IMO)!

Is it going on the floor or on your desk? Is cooling performance or silence more important? Side panel with Window I'm assuming.

The two cases I like, with dual compartments, would be the Corsair Carbide Ari 740/540 or the Antec Signature S10; both big cases though.

Neither...kinda...I have basically, metal blocks in can stand on to raise it off the floor.

Ooh the 740 is a good shout, I like the look of that, will add to my list

I went looking at cases last week, as I'm considering a change myself. I don't need a new one (using a Corsair 500R), but I've done a number of builds in Phanteks cases for other people recently and I just kinda started wanting one. They're absolutely fantastic to build in!!

The Enthoo Primo seems to be the most popular model, while the Enthoo Pro is also very good.... but the one I really want is the Enthoo Luxe (in black, with plastic window rather than the tempered glass).

So, I've been doing some looking around and so far have come up with the below -

The x71 is a big big case And the Enthoo is really nice but having had tempered glass myself I found it to start attracting dust to the point its just plain annoying.

The Corsair is a solid choice but no separate psu compartment.

Throwing an outsider into the ring the EVGA DG-86 might be worth a look.

And even more outside the ring, take a look at the Corsair Air 540 Cube case, its big, everything separate and its a nice case for a good build

Enthoo luxe would be my choice, prefer that aesthetic.

Hard to find dual compartment cases it seems, didn't realise. There is the Cosmos II from Coolermaster which I covet, although it breaks the budget.

Out of the ones posted so far, I am leaning towards the EVGA DG-86 or the Enthoo Luxe
The Panzermax is nice, just not sure of it

Also check out the EVGA DG-87, only a few quid more.
