    Talking Kolink Satellite Plus

Hi hexites just a quick thread here.

I'm doing a new general purpose build mini-ITX ish (I'm going to be using a motherboard Asus H81M-P-SI that's slightly larger than mITX)
Trying to keep the cost down I've been looking for a smaller, decent itx case that didn't cost too much.
I was looking at ether the Raijintek Metis, Xigmatek Nebula C, Sharkoon QB One or RIOTORO CR280
My favourite was the Metis, I think that's a lovely looking case and aluminium panels. but my worry was if the board would fit, I also want to put in a 3.5" HDD + 2.5" SSD.
However at the last minute I saw that the Metis was out of stock, (2 week delay shown in my amazon basket) found the Kolink Satellite Plus https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06WGRLGM7 at £35 which is £5 cheaper, and it's pretty much the same size as the metis laid on it's side.

Now I was a little worried about the quality given the cost, I've just got it today and I'm impressed it seems to be really good for the cost.
    here's a review link (not mine) http://hardwarecheck.eu/cases/kolink...s-case-review/

I'm still waiting on bits for this this build so I'll post more later with some pics I just had to get my initial thoughts out, from the initial unboxing and look at it, it seems like a really solid option for a cheap smallish case.
    Plus points:
    • Rubber case feet inserts (most cheap cases just have plastic feet)
Anodised Aluminium panels (for the cost it's unusual to find more than steel and plastic)
Well built, no flex and well rounded and folded edges
      Low cost
Rubber grommets for drive mounting (have to see if they are any good)

    Negative points
    • no dust fliters (I really like filters in my cases these days)

Yes that's it so far my only negative is a lack of dust filters the real test will come when I try to build in it, but so far it's blown me away for a £35 mITX case

EDIT: If any one wants detailed questions about this case answered, ask and I'll try my best to answer

    Re: Kolink Satellite Plus

It also seems Kolink are making a cheaper alternative to the Dan Case A4-SFX too:

    https://www.overclockers.co.uk/kolin...ca-035-kk.html

Having said that I wish it was under £100 but even at £160 its significantly cheaper than the Dan Case A4-SFX.

    Edit!!

It seems to be this Korean case with a big markup:

    http://www.hammertech.co.kr/caseclick_h4_01.html
    https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comme...knockoff_case/

It might explain why some of the Kolink cases are decent quality - they are probably rebrands of cases from Asia, some of which are actually really well made.

Oooh, that's a pretty little case Still quite deep, but I guess that's the price of fitting a full ATX PSU in it.

I should have a dig through the spares box and see if I've got any bits that need a new case to go in to....

I built a PC with a kolink case and was really impressed with its quality, considering it was only £29.99.

    Re: Kolink Satellite Plus

Finally starting my build in this case.
Still very happy with it, only 1 negative so far, once stripped down the internal frame is slightly twisted, I think one of the top "rails" isn't quite square makes it want to twist slightly.
Once you screw in ether of the hard drive mount plates it pulls the whole thing square so it's a very minor issue and I've seen worse on cheap cases.

Aluminium panels are approx ~1.5mm thick
