Keyboard mods?

Hi all,
I couldn’t find too much on modifying keyboards with google. I’ve ordered a Logitech media keyboard (black) and am looking for ideas for modding it. ATM I have 2 Tri-colour cathodes above my white keyboard but they are destined for the sides of my new TFT (when it arrives) I’ve ordered a set of dual UV cathodes to go above the keyboard to highlight the white decals. (Anyone know how well that will work?)
I have a red EL wire kit and was thinking of doing this . Anyone had any experience with this? If I were to do this I’d think about changing the caps lock etc. LEDs to red ones to match.
Alternatively has anyone tried putting LEDs inside the keyboard to light up under the keys? Just off hand perhaps 6 on the main keyboard and 2 more on the number pad?

I have experience with routing EL wire under the keys, it gets a bit tricky...

Think I might leave it then, I had the EL wire running while playing CS last night and could only put up with its high pitched whine for about 1 round.
might have a look at some of those super bright white LED's, I have 3 5mm ones in my mountin bike headlight and they are *very* bright.

Sorry about my last post, it was a bit quick

I modded my old keyboard, fitted EL Wire underneath the keys, kinda screwed up my keyboard though as some keys got caught on the wire and some were a little dodgy from my dremeling skill

My EL Wire doesn't actually make a noise, it does make EM interferance with my sub though, but that's easily fixed with some tin foil
