Sub Forum not what I expected

I came here to find chat about cases but only found a gallery post where lots of the images are no longer visible, I guess due to where they were originally hosted.

Surprised that there is not more talk here about specific cases, limitations, what will fit etc.

Or is there a different area such things are posted?

If you have such a question, then this is probably the right place for the discussion. Give it a try

Edit: I notice in another thread you say you are replacing a Shuttle. I believe the more recent ones used a mini ITX motherboard and would be ripe for modding and/or re-use!

Yes have my old shuttle which i think was AMD based SN25P and that was replaced with a SP35P2 Intel based on.

So 10 years or so later time for an upgrade and although Shuttle looked promising not being able to do much with the memory, cpu etc in bios I thought it would be a waste of good components and now gravitating towards something like a 3700x CPU which steers me away completely from Shuttle.

Was interested in the Sidearmd T1. Then briefly the Thor Zone Mjolnir on Kickstarter but now thinking the Ncase M1 v6.1.

Re: Sub Forum not what I expected

Shuttle's used to be cracking little machines, had an SN45G2 back in the day - excellent piece of kit and solid as a rock. Looked at them for my next machine at the time but they had got very expensive and were focusing on smaller less upgradable machines and all-in-ones.

With a side selection of mini-itx cases and motherboards these days then I'd probably be with you looking elsewhere. Have just ended up with mATX since the shuttle as I'm too cheap to pay the premium to go any smaller (aside from one failed mini-itx experiment - PSU troubles and integrated graphics just weren't up to scratch).
