I have the same Zalman cpu cooler, great aren't they? Looks like it just fits between your mobo's extra power thingy.

    Nice rig btw.

The Zalman CPU Cooler certainly does its job. Was kind of worried when I got the gigabyte mobo. Though the DPS module would have been a pain to fit in but as you aptly put it, it "just" fits between Zalman's FHS.

Sort of thinking of replacing it with a Thermalright XP90C. Just hope the DPS module still fits in there once i get it.

Yeah those Logitech dual action controllers work like a charm.... Beats having to play games like POP2 with the keyboard and mouse....

Anyway, a few updates to my system... Replaced the Zalman CPU Cooler with a TT Big Typhoon.

I also ended up replacing the front intake fan of my Thermaltake Shark case with a Antec Blue LED fan and also replaced the standard fan that came with Big Typhoon with another Antec Blue LED fan.

Also got mysef a new 3800+ processor and a new TFT monitor as well...

Depends on the Zalman you are talking about.... I had the 7700-AlCu.... and my max load was usually around 42C.... and there was also the issue of my Gigabyte DPS module fitting in place with the Zalman.

With the TT Typhoon, my max load is at best 37C... which to me is a considerable amount of heat taken off....

    Your machine is PIMP!!

I got a hyper 6 cooler in mine, again, very large and heavy. A Bleeder to fit. Worth it though.
