    PS one LCD

Seeing as these babies are so cheap nowardays I was wondering how hard this mod was to achieve, considdering I don't know one end of a soldering iron from the other. I just want to mount one in/on my shuttle standby PC.

A few people have done this apparently... I remember seeing a Spectrum 128 plugged into one also... so they're flexible little screens

Make sure its the OFFICIAL one.

The unofficial ones aren't as good and a lot just use composite.

    the screen itself is 5"IIRC.

And the bit without the cover (with PCB andstuff) is a 5" circle or slightly over 5.1" i think.

About 2CM deep with a bit of clearance

It is a very hard project to complete. Or, rather, it was for me. So hard it was never completed!
