I'm looking to sort out the mess inside my PC. I'm looking for some good UV spiral wrap (I've got a UV cathode, but no UV stuff) - or is there a better way of tidying it up?

Kustompc have a range of spiral wrap.
R-points pyramid scheme is NOT allowed on HEXUS. Please do not add it back again - thank you.
I'll give it a look - cheers![]()
Ice - does the clear stuff light up under UV - I can't find any UV reactive wrap![]()
Kustom are just waiting on some UV reactive braid coming in any day now.
Braid is far nicer than wrap but a bit more work.
What do you have to do to get braid on?
You have to remove the molex/floppy plugs & then replace them afterwards.
This is actually quite easy, it just takes a bit of time.
Plenty of "how to's" on the net but basically each wire is terminated with a small connector.
Each of those connectors is prevented from coming out of the plug by small tab(s).
If you flatten the tab(s) with a needle/precision screwdriver etc. you can withdraw the cable from the plug.
N.B. Take note of which cable goes into which part of plug before removing.
Slide braid up cable (sometimes easier if you tape connectors together) & slide on heatshrink for both ends of cable.
Refit floppy/molex plugs - just bend out the tabs that you previously flattened & slide back into the correct slot in the plug.
Position heatshrink over ends of braid & shrink.
Job done!
Sounds scary, but I might try it with a few - I'll probably buy some braid and some wrap and give the braid a bash. Cheers for the advice.

Plenty of places for coloured spiral wrap, but not many with UV reactive....
