Question Removing "yellowing" from old hardware

You know that nasty yellow colour that white hardware seems to go after a time ?, anyone know a way to get rid of it ?
Is there some industrial strength bleach which will restore it to its former glory ?

    Thanks for any help

Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
