Coolermaster WaveMaster Black TAC-T01EK Aluminium Case

    Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting a Coolermaster WaveMaster Black TAC-T01EK Aluminium Case:

    Black one>> http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=94532

Does anyone have one and are they happy with it? Also does it have the light on the front as per the silver one?

    Silver One>> http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=72405

    Thank you!

I've got a blue 1 does that count?
It's not the best case for cooling or quiet purposes (80mm fans) & the door restricts your choice of fan controllers etc. Other than that it's a nice case.
It should have the blue LEDs on the front too.

I would probably go for the Themaltake Tsumami, which looks very much the same but have much bigger (quieter) fans and build quiality.

Agreed. That TT case is better than the Wavemaster.

Think that's the case for me, are the Fans quiet or is it worth getting new ones?

Does the Tsunami have a removable mobo tray though?
That's well worth having imo & there is nothing wrong with build quality of the Wavemaster.

How about a Lian Li PC61 Plus?

That is very nice indeed, but I can't really spend that much on a case.

Hmmm, £16 off tempting, but it doesn't have the blue light on the front.

Only 9 more post for free postage :-)

I've always thought the Tsunami was bit of a replica Wavemaster, same wavy design, top flip-up room, similar front... and well to me it looks a bit more plasticy Anyway, everyone got there choices..i would just defo choice wavemaster.

i built a machine for someone using a Yellow Wavemaster!!!

I thought the case was quite nice (apart from the colour) but for the price I personally would have looked elsewhere. it is definitely sturdy and well built though

The idea of a Tt being better build quality as a CM is laughable. The Wavemaster may have lesser cooling but the build quality far outstrips anything that Tt could muster.
