not a major mod, hardly did anything but the result was pretty kewl, just stuck an old neon tube to the back of the mon, acts as backlight at night.

mines just a normal case cathode, hehe just hid the wires, running from psu. Same bro I ain't gonna physcially mod my screen..love it too much to mess it up. 100% effect, 0 time, plug and play![]()

Doesn't the dell have an internal usb hub? could jus power it off that...might be wrong was looking at a couple of large TFTs

unreal, beauty of having it USB powered is you could simply unplug it from the usb socket. Voila no more blinding light
