    The Arctic T2 Silentium

    Hey all, looking at getting this,

    but they mention about the horizontal floppy connector, i dont have this but my ide's are horizontal, will this effect my board fitting?

    You managed to track down the T2 as it looks like a good case, but the insides are the same for all the ranges - reviews says boards are VERY tight fit. I'm just hoping Scan will be bring them out.

    Where have you seen it?

    Here's a review, which shows how tight the board is - if the IDE connectors are above the HDD muffler, then you should be okay.

    A mate went to build a system housed in one of these cases. He had an Asus A8V Deluxe board and because he couldn't ditch the HDD muffler due to the number of drives he was using, he had to ditch the case.

    I ended up taking the case off him, putting in a mATX board and it's running very, very quiet indeed.

    If you can live without the muffler, then it's worth doing. If, however you've got a board with horizontal connectors and you need the muffler, then you'll probably have to consider something else.
