hi im new to this forums can u guys help me out
im thinking of buying a cooldrive 4 but there are some stuff that no one says about the thing:
1st: does the lcd backlight switch off with time/button or does it stays always on?
2nd:how does one install the temperature sensors? the cpu temperature sensor is giving me the creeps cuz it's installed on the bottom near the pins the vga temperature i dont have a clue where to install. and im really scared of killing the cpu
3rd: if i dont install any of the fans/sensors will the alarm go off?
4th: can i disable permanently the alarm feature?
5th: can i change/mod it's faceplate color?
6th: how can i paste the sensors without a permanent epoxy?
7th: is it worth the cash payed for it?

1.) From the reviews I've read on it, I think you can have it on all the time or off all the time
2.) I think it's intended for you to attach thermal probes at teh base of the heatsinks. This is not the most accurate method but you won't need to remove the heatsinks to do it.

5.) Yeah you could mod the colour because there is an acrylic panel over the aluminium
6.) Thermal paste like the stuff found under your CPU and VGA heatsink
7.) I think it's good value for money but don't expect it to look great with all systems and give the most accurate temp displays

its a codegen(modded) case with 2 side fans
i want to be able to shut the lights off completely stealthing my computer at night(it's very silent cuz i used akasa pax mate and only silent fans like noizeblocker and papst)
