I'd immediately discount the Silverstone because the ATX harness is modular and this is the one set of cables you DO need. Modular cables mean increased electrical resistance and yyou may potentially suffer some voltage drop. Now having a decent PSU will go some way to alleviate that but the last thing you'd want to do is cripple your entire system out of the box by having a detachable ATX harness. It's also one more point of failure, one more electrical connection to come loose or oxidise. I don't know anything about the Enermax but they've been a name to conjure with for many years now and are always reliable, well-made supplies (maybe not the quietest but always well-made) and the captive ATX harness is enough for me

    Nooooooooo ENERMAX!

im on a one man crusade to destroy that company..... basically my noisetaker is utterly utterly terrible, avoid enermax.

It just doesnt have the grunt you would expect (sometimes fails to start PC at all) rails are all over the show and it strangles my 3400 by constantly dipping and increasing its voltage.

    yeh nice job enermax

Get the Seasonic 600W then. Totally quiet, totally trustworthy, totally power (hey they should employ me as a copywriter - not).

Seasonic are like Rolls Royce its style is abit old fashioned but you cant doubt its class

Hiper are the flash sports cars of the PSU world, their modulars are so damn sexy.

now if the SIlverstone PSU is as good as its cases then its gonna be Class like the seasonic and Blingy like the Hiper.

infact Rodney renolds (3dgameman) gave the Silverstone a 100% kickass score, while only giving the Hiper a normal Kickass score.

I think the seasonic is too upper class to be seen near kickass

Seasonic all the way go www.siletpcreview.com and see for yourself. THe Enermax sounds like a jet engine going off, the seasonic are the best of the best right now.

    Permanently confused
