Anyone know of any portable mods?

I'm thinking of doing a portable mod including a full size tft and was wondering does anyone know of any mods like this out there? I want to see if its really practical and need some ideas about screen integration etc.

I havent really looked that hard but thought you guys might know of something .

Yeah well it could be called a laptop but what I was thinking of would probably break your legs if you put it on your lap .

It definately wouldnt be "thin and light" seeing as it would have a full size 17inch tft, atx mobo, psu, gfx card, soundcard, two hdds, and full size optical drive. Basically a whole computer in a box that you could just close up and carry away. Good for lan parties etc.

Hmm hadnt seen that scan isotope before. Looks interesting but IMO it isnt the systems unit but the screen and peripherals that are the most difficult to transport.

What I was thinking of was basically a laptop with full size desktop components. I did some mock ups over the wkend and came to the conclusion it will be damn heavy whatever else .

Well I'll be using this mostly to go into the office in college so I think I'll leave the beer at home .

Saying that I'm thinking of using an old broken record player like this which is fairly big

So plenty of room to fit a few cans of beer .
